Families have ParentSquare, students have StudentSquare!
StudentSquare is an app for teachers and school staff to communicate directly with high school students, and students communicate with their teachers, counselors, and other staff.
Each high school automatically has an account in StudentSquare using their district student email address. Students receive messages via email, but there are other ways to get StudentSquare messages: students can add their cell number to receive text messages, or they can download the StudentSquare app (iOS and Android) and receive notifications.
Why Should Students Download StudentSquare?
- Be one of the first to know about weather delays and closures
- Message your teachers with questions about assignments
- Get important information about school from principals
- Receive emergency notifications about lockdowns
StudentSquare is only available to high school students and cannot be used to message other students. StudentSquare is not a social media platform, but rather a communication platform used for schools to pass along useful and timely information to students.
Please note: Students can receive and read messages without activating their StudentSquare account or downloading the app. Activation is only needed to log in and access StudentSquare features. Messages can be received by text, email, push notification, app, or web portal. The app just makes it easier!

Here are the steps to set-up StudentSquare for high/middle school students
Download the StudentSquare app
Download the FREE StudentSquare app for iOS or Android. This is the easiest way for you to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files. You can enable text notifications when a message is posted.
Use the camera on your phone to scan the QR codes below - it takes you directly to the App or Google Play store.
Log in to your StudentSquare account
Your school has created your account using your school email address.
After you download and install the StudentSquare app to your device, you can enter your school email address in the top area. You can also sign in using the website.
Once you are logged in, you can access help articles for more information on navigating and using StudentSquare.
