Hello Quincy Jacks family! I am thrilled to form part of the Quincy High School team for my eighth year. I have lived in Central Washington for most of my life, but after high school I moved to sunny southern California to pursue my education. Being part of the Quincy community has been an honor and I look to the future with so many expectations. I have been happily married to my husband Ulises for 9 years, and we are the proud parents of, two and a half year old, Nathan. My family and I enjoy spending time with each other and loved ones more than anything else. Whether that means dinners, either homemade or eating out, movie nights, or simply playing outside and going for walks together. While we may not be in the ideal situation, we are all working hard to make it as simple and accommodating to everyone involved. We look forward to having all of you with us in the future.

This is my fifth year of school counseling at QHS and I truly enjoy being part of the Quincy counseling team. I am passionate about mental health and wellness, and have been using mindfulness and meditation as tools for staying in the present moment during both positive and negative circumstances. My educational background includes a BA from Eastern Washington University, an MS in School Counseling from Capella University and will be working on my National Board Certification this year. My husband Seth and I reside in Wenatchee, WA and we enjoy mountain biking at Squilchuk and Freund Canyon. Our family is comprised of 2 cats-Wolfie and Grey, 2 100-gallon fish tanks and 1 60-gallon fish tank. We have tetras, goldfish, dojo loaches, corydoras, rasboras, african dwarf frogs, hillstream loaches, bristlenose plecos...Hard to believe it started out as a COVID hobby with a 10-gallon tank! Part of my self-care routine is watching Netflix with my husband-currently CSI, The Boys, and Parks and Rec. I encourage us all to practice self-care to recharge and support our mental health. Here's to another great year at QHS!

Hi Everyone! This is my fourth year as a counselor at Quincy High School. I was born and raised in the very southeast corner of Washington in a rural farming community called Pomeroy. After graduating from Pomeroy Jr./Sr. High School, I attended Eastern Washington University and earned degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2015 and Children's Studies in 2016. I then attended Oregon State University and received my Master of Counseling degree in 2018. Outside of school I enjoy many activities including: hiking, snowmobiling, camping, fishing, and boating. I spend most of my time traveling, attending the Spokane Chief's hockey games, and steel-head fishing with my family. I am an avid Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Mariners fan. I am excited for this year, and cannot wait for you all to be back in the building with us!

As a lifelong member of the Quincy community, I am excited to begin my 15th year as a counselor at Quincy High School! I thoroughly enjoy giving back to the community that helped shape the person I am today. I have been happily married to my wife, Jessica, for 20 years and we have three wonderful children: Trajan, Julisa, and Dominic. We also added a new member to our household last spring, our beloved puppy, Jax (as true Quincy Jackrabbits, we felt this was the most appropriate name for our first dog). I graduated from Central Washington University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology and Law and Justice Pre-Law. I completed a Master’s Degree in Education School Counseling in 2007 from Heritage University, and attended Gonzaga University to obtain a Professional Certification in School Counseling in 2016. In addition to my role as a counselor, I also enjoy working with student-athletes as an Assistant Basketball Coach for 15 years, and Head Boys Golf Coach for the past 8 years. Outside of school, I enjoy attending Seahawks and Husky games, visiting family, playing golf, and walking Jax. I have also recently started playing fantasy football in multiple friend and family leagues. Cheers to those working to make the best of this year - Go Jacks!
